Jessica studied history and art at Harvard College and practiced law after graduating from Cornell and Harvard Schools of Law. She has volunteered in public schools for 15+ years, and currently serves as a member of the Lexington School Committee and as a Town Meeting Member. She pursues her art and creative education projects through Shining Hours, on the Web at ShiningHours.com.
Jessica created Butterfly School for her children, then piloted a web-version at a national health portal. Eager to expand Butterfly School's resources, Jessica took Butterfly School to her own site & in 2001 launched butterflyschool.net. She and her husband practice the fine art of parenting in Massachusetts. More about jess.
Educational Consultant
Corinne has over 20 years of experience teaching in varied settings. In the 1970s, Corinne founded and directed a parents' cooperative day care center in New York City. The center explored interdisciplinary teaching and featured open classrooms and combined age groups. In more recent years she enjoyed working with SUNY Plattsburgh's Upward Bound summer program and teaching in the public school system.
