Let's play Butterfly School!  Today is March 19th and Alphie and Bettie are excited to learn about the second letter of the alphabet:  "b." "B" sounds like "buh" in butterfly and Bettie!  Alphie and Bettie draw basil and bluebells.  Basil is a delicious leafy herb.  Basil can have lots of green leaves!  Bluebells are blue flowers on a tall stem.  Butterfly bush is bright purple or hot pink.  Butterflies love the bright and tall flowers so much, people call the plant a "butterfly bush!"  The bluebonnet is so beautiful, it is the Texas state flower!
