Let's play Butterfly School!  Today is March 21th.  Today is the first day of spring.  Happy Spring!  Alphie and Bettie read about plants that begin with the letter "d."  "D" sounds like "duh" -- let's say "duh."  Alphie likes daisy flowers.  Many daisies have yellow centers with long white loopy petals.  Bettie likes the herb dill.  Some people cook with dill!  Let's think of some "d" words:  dog, dunk, dip, dance. bulletTrace the "D" and "d" with a pencil.
bulletCut out a yellow circle and lots of long white loopy petal shapes.  Build a daisy!  Add a green stem.
