Let's play Butterfly School!  Counting is so much fun.  I will show you how I count all the way to ten on my fingers:  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.  Now, let's try it with your fingers.  Let's read the numbers on this page:  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.  There is one butterfly flying over each number.  Let's count all the butterflies . . .  There are ten!  Let's color all ten butterflies! 		 Activities to Share

bulletDiscuss the weather.
bulletCircle each butterfly as you count from 1 to 10.  Then, as you color each butterfly, count the number colored ("1, 2, 3, there are three colored butterflies.  Let's color another one and count again.").
